Lychee honey

Lychee honey is honey collected by bees from the flowers of lychee trees.

Lychees are the fruit of the lychee tree.

Taiwanese lychee flowers typically bloom between late February and April, when beekeepers begin their honey-hunting life. Lychee honey has a fruity aroma and is less sweet than longan honey. It crystallizes easily, making it a great pairing with black tea.
